This was a super special photoshoot for me. This family has had a huge influence on Scott and I before we were even married! Scott started attending Highlands in college and volunteering with Deborah’s dad in the Country Tent! Fast forward a few months, he got connected with Stacey and started serving in other areas of the church when Stacey was the campus pastor!

At the time, I was on staff at Highlands with both Deborah and Stacey, along with Martha and Tyler. Nicole basically lived in my office after each school day and this entire family became an extended family to us as Scott and I met, fell in love and had Connor!

They have been the mentors we needed, in several seasons of life, and have always taught us that when you let the Lord guide your journey and trust, He will guide you better than you could have ever guided yourself. This family means the world to us and we were so honored when they asked me to capture their family photos in this season of their lives!

We miss them so dearly as most of them reside in Georgia these days, but we look forward to every visit they make to Virginia to see the rest of the crew!
