Engagement Session at the Hills and Dales Estate

Michael and Sarah’s engagement session at The Hills and Dales Estate quickly shot to the top of my favorites! In a word, this venue is spectacular. The fact this couple adores each other only made the pictures shine that much brighter.

Despite currently residing in Texas, they flew in for our session together. I’d fly halfway across the country for this venue as well! They booked the Hills and Dales Estate at their private rate, which meant it was just the three of us on the grounds for this session. With the dreamy lighting, the enchanting gardens, and the stunning villa… the only word is magical!

Love Among the Azaleas

When it comes to planning your engagement session, understanding your venue is key to choosing your wardrobe. Since so much of the Estate and Ferrell Gardens exudes these luscious greens, Michael and Sarah choose shades of blue to stand out and pop. It worked perfectly! If you ever have any questions about what to wear for these sessions, ask your photographer! As those Farmers Insurance commercials always say, “We know a thing or two because we’ve seen a thing or two.”

Michael and Sarah will be flying back to Atlanta to get married at the Biltmore Ballrooms. I cannot wait to see what magic awaits us there! Keep scrolling to see more photographs of our beautiful evening together.
