A Founders Memorial Garden Wedding at the University of Georgia

Eric & Stacia’s intimate wedding ceremony at the Founders Memorial Garden remains a favorite of mine. Surrounded by family, the vibrant garden brought life and color to every aspect of their wedding day. The expressly wanted their ceremony to be a simple celebration of how much they love each other. By keeping the focus on what truly mattered, becoming husband and wife, it brought an intensity of joy and love to the service. I simply adored that they exchanged hand written vows!

Located on the University of Georgia campus, the garden is nestled back behind the campus’s famous fountain. (It also makes for a wonderful location for an engagement session or senior portraits.) After the ceremony, we were able to do an extended portrait session around the garden and other locations on the Georgia campus.
