Kayla & Chris have such a unique story. Kayla came here for work and even though she loved it here, she hadn’t met someone! Chris would deny this, but the way Kayla tells it, he totally started talking to her on Facebook! After three months of continued conversation, she finally agreed to meet him! They hit it off immediately and started dating. They learned early in their relationship that communication was key, because due to their jobs, they spend lots of months of the year apart. Regardless, they new that they wanted to build a life together and year later, Chris asked Kayla to marry him after a special date away to the Martha Washington Inn in Abingdon.

So here we are, celebrating their love story among an intimate ceremony of their closest family and friends! I have to tell you, by the end of the day, these people felt like family and were an absolute joy to be around. Thank you to both of you, for trusting me and asking me to be there to document your love. It is special and it is deep and it is beautiful. I hope you enjoy reliving your wedding day at Maple Lane Farm!

All the women raised a glass in honor of the bride’s grandmother, who loved the color pink and so they drank some pink rose to remember her!

Congratulations Chris & Kayla! You are an absolute joy and I am so thrilled that I got to be there to capture your love story! Also a special shout out to all the incredible vendors I got to work with!
