Mary Jane and Brooks’ Downtown Greenville, SC Wedding at the AC Hotel

Today we’re traveling up the interstate to Mary Jane and Brooks’ downtown Greenville, SC wedding! This elegant, intimate wedding included an absolutely perfect rooftop, golden light cocktail hour. They also hired one of the most electric and fun wedding bands I’ve had the pleasure of working with. It was an absolutely perfect day!

When It Comes To Love, Timing Is Everything

Needless to say, COVID wrecked quite a few things, but not this love story! Brooks and Mary Jane first met on Bumble and had their first date in February off 2020… I think we all know about what happened next. A few months later, after no more in-person dates, Mary Jane invited him over for a happy hour on her newly renovated outdoor patio. What was supposed to be a few hours became a few days. As she said, “the rest is pretty much history.”

Mary Jane says that her favorite thing about Brooks is that when they are together, he is her peace. His calm nature and overwhelming care for everyone around him have become her rock. Brooks says that Mary Jane’s bubbly and outgoing personality is what lights up his life. He’s fully aware that she loves him deeply and cares for him in a way that no one else ever has.
